With a commitment to fostering creativity and enhancing artistic skills, ArtWRKD in Newtown is introducing a series of workshops that cater to both beginners and seasoned artists.
“Color and Confidence” with Gwenn Seemel, whose focus is about believing in your intention and being open to the playful nature of drawing, is a teen workshop from 4-6 p.m. Feb. 23.
Artist Rebecca Kelly will offer the “Meditative Heart Workshop” from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, taking participants on a healing journey of creation. Kelly is a book arts and mixed media artist.
ArtWRKD will delve into more specialized and in-depth instruction with Master Classes scheduled starting in March. These classes, led by accomplished instructors, are tailored for artists who are eager to elevate their craft and delve deeper into specific techniques and artistic disciplines.
Besides the diverse range of workshops, ArtWRKD is placing a strong emphasis on series and intensives throughout the year. These focused programs aim to deepen participants’ understanding of technique and materials, allowing them to refine their skills and broaden their artistic horizons.
