Georgie S. Werner, of West Rockhill Twp., Pa., passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at her home. She was 77.
Together for 44 years, she was the loving wife of Charles E. “Sam” Krikory since November 7, 2022.
Born in Sellersville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George H. and Mary Ann (Morsillo) Sine. She was a 1964 graduate of Pennridge High School, Perkasie, Pa.
Georgie worked in the greenhouses for the former Frederick’s Flowers & Gifts, Souderton, Pa,, for over 21 years until retiring in 2022. Previously, she was employed by the Bucks County Economic Development Corp., Doylestown, Pa., for 17 years, and, before that, she worked for C. L. Orbaker & Associates Real Estate, Doylestown, for 18 years.
She was a dedicated member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, Pa., where she belonged to the Silver & Gold Club for 23 years, served on the Cleaning Committee for 20 years, and volunteered with the Christmas Bazaar.
Georgie was an active 44-year life member of the Paletown Rod & Gun Club, Quakertown, Pa. She, along with her husband, served as editors and handled the mailing of the Club’s newsletters, served meals for the After Club Work Parties, and volunteered with the Membership Committee and Fundraising Committee selling raffle tickets. She will be remembered for her caring nature, having adopted many feral cats that became “family.”
Surviving with her husband are her twin sister, Mary Menszak, of East Rockhill Twp., Pa.; a brother, Robert Sine, of Sellersville, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Rose Toth and her husband Steve, of Massachusetts, and Maggie Vanderwoulde, of Quakertown, Pa.; six nieces, Karen Stellabott and her husband Steve, Heidi Gehman and her husband Jeff, Danielle Clifford, Samantha Toth, Amanda Toth, and Brenda Sine-Koegler; and two nephews, Steve Stevens and Michael Sine and his wife Missy.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ Cemetery, Perkasie.
