Petty attacks are unbecoming

Posted

We live in a divided America instilled by persuasion and influence. Sadly, it is also fed by false, manipulated media and the use of technology.

A mere Photoshopped image can sway the masses, blurring the lines between reality and fabrication.

The collective animosity toward individuals can spread like wildfire, devoid of rationality or justification.

Take for instance, Donald Trump’s “God Bless the USA Bible.” Sounds like a book I, as a patriot, would enjoy. Someone who loves the U.S.A. and would want to share it for the knowledge it would bring to others.

Regardless of one’s political leanings, the notion of a patriotic tome aimed at sharing knowledge should be welcomed with open arms.

Why now do those quick to judge, lash out at something as menial as this? Is it the blind allegiance to collective disdain or are we swayed by influences devoid of substantive reasoning?

My personal outlook is; Life today will be yesterday so fast. Love and live your life to the fullest for these petty attacks on others waste so much precious time. God bless.
