Give thanks for cats this Thanksgiving.
From noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, Tabby’s Place: a Cat Sanctuary invites cat lovers to kick off the holiday season with a feast of feline fun.
The Thanksgiving with the Cats event is back for the first time since 2019.
Guests will enjoy holiday refreshments, self-guided tours of Tabby’s Place, mini silent auction; and a smorgasbord of kitty cuddles. Best of all, attendees will have the opportunity to feed the cats an early Thanksgiving dinner.
Thanksgiving with the Cats is a free event, but Tabby’s Place asks guests to bring much-needed donations. In addition to monetary gifts, the non-profit sanctuary needs canned and dry cat food (of any variety), non-clumping kitty litter, cat toys, and treats for its 100-plus cats to gobble.
For information, contact Tabby’s Place Director of Operations Danielle Rice at dr@tabbysplace.orgor 908-237-5300 x450. Tabby’s Place is located at 1100 US Highway 202 in Ringoes, N.J.
Can’t make Thanksgiving with the Cats? Tabby’s Place is open for tours and adoptions seven days a week, from noon-5 p.m. You can also visit the cats online, and show your love with a donation, at www.tabbysplace.org.
