Posted

Kin Wellness and Support Center’s third annual Be Kind Kin Golf Classic will be held at The Bucks Club on Friday, June 28.

The event will be held at The Bucks Club, and include a cold and hot breakfast, a full round of (shotgun start) golf with carts, and lunch and drinks. Anyone who does not golf, but would like to support Kin are invited to attend the lunch for $40 per ticket.

Sponsorships are still available. Many in the community have already signed on to sponsor this year’s event: (Title Sponsor) Archetype Advisors, Grace Media Services, Inc., Stone Hill Contracting, Maryellen O’Brien KW Bucks County Real Estate, Doylestown Acupuncture, Provident Bank, Barre3 (Doylestown), Árdana Food & Drink, Scott Payne Custom Pools LLC., Doylestown Family Dentistry, CompassRE - Clint Polchan, J.R. Maxwell Builders, Michael Hutkin Window Coverings, Wolstenholme Associates, LLC and Pitcher Perfect Painting.

“My family, my business and my heart is in Bucks County,” said Bill Lahr, CEO, Archetype Advisors. “When I see a local nonprofit make an impact on my local community in such a meaningful way, I am driven to put all the resources I can to support their mission and make sure they succeed. I am motivated to be the Title Sponsor for the third year in a row to do my part as a resident and a local business owner. It is my great pleasure to shine a light on the good work Kin is doing for our cancer community.”

“Kin is 100% funded through community donations, so our fundraising efforts have significant impact on our nonprofit as we care for hundreds of people in our cancer community across Bucks County,” said executive director of Kin, Keith Fenimore. “We are hoping to attract over 100 golfers and even more local sponsors this year, so we can continue doing good work for those in need. Kin is by the community, for the community, and we rely on events like our third annual Golf Classic to help our non-profit thrive.

Funds raised will stay local and benefit Kin Wellness and Support Center, which provides free integrative services, therapy, support and fitness to cancer patients, caregivers and oncology healthcare workers across Bucks County.

Grace Media Services Inc. organized the golf outing and manages the event website, which is now active. Anyone in the community interested in sponsoring the event and/or playing, can visit www.kin-golf.com or call 267-544-5981.
