Bluegrass at TileWorks returns with three live concerts in the courtyard of Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, featuring familiar faces and nationally acclaimed bluegrass acts.
This is TileWorks’ third summer of hosting national bluegrass greats and local pickers for family fun in the courtyard on Sunday afternoons.
Pull up a lawn chair, picnic blanket or just lay out on the grass for another season of Bluegrass at TileWorks. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. All shows are rain or shine events.
Performing on June 30 will be East Nash Grass and Wood Flower.
East Nash Grass, who hail from Nashville Tenn., returns to the TileWorks. The band recently released a new album, “Last Chance to Win,” and can be heard quite regularly on bluegrass radio stations like Sirius and streaming services like Spotify. Wood Flower is a Pennsylvania bluegrass band, which was named as one of the ‘Top 10 Acts to See’ in Philadelphia in 2023.
On July 28, Mark Cosgrove & Good Medicine take the stage with High & Wides.
Mark Cosgrove is a Bucks County legend and a guitar player extraordinaire. He played with David Bromberg for years, up until Bromberg’s recent retirement. Cosgrove’s band, Good Medicine, has been has become his main focus. The High and Wides plays hard driving bluegrass and heartfelt ballads and has released a few records over the years.
On Sept. 29, The Sam Grisman Project with Serene Green will perform.
Through The Sam Grisman Project, Sam and his quartet aim to celebrate and honor his father David “Dawg” Grisman’s musical legacy. A collaboration between David “Dawg” Grisman and Jerry Garcia in the early 1990s produced timeless acoustic music.
Serene Green is a Pennsylvania-based traditional bluegrass band. They write original music, sing multi-part harmonies and play covers.
Doors open at 1 p.m., with music from 2-6 p.m. Admission is $40 per concert or $100 for all three, plus fees, and free for kids 12 and under and four-legged friends. Parking is free.
