The Pennridge Rams (17-2), the District One runners-up, began PIAA 3A boys volleyball play in a late Wednesday game at La Salle.
For the third straight year, Pennridge opened states against District 12 champion La Salle. The Rams swept the Explorers in 2022. The Explorers returned the favor in 2023.
Wednesday marks Pennridge’s fourth straight trip to PIAAs. In the regular season, the Rams won the SOL American with a 14-0 record. Outside hitter Jude Rotondo recently had his LOI ceremony to Belmont Abbey, the defending Conference Carolinas champion.
