Bucks Mont Yoga Festival celebrates International Yoga Day

Arva Yoga and Council of Indian Organizations Greater Philadelphia present the inaugural Bucks Mont Yoga Festival in honor of International Yoga Day 2024 11 a.m.-4 p.m. June 22 at Graeme Park in Horsham.

Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word “yoga” is derived from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of mind, body and spirit. Today yoga is practiced in various forms around the world and continues to grow in popularity.

On Dec 11, 2014, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 69/131, which proclaimed June 21 International Yoga Day.

The Bucks Mont Yoga Festival is free to all community members and will feature yoga sessions, local vendors, artisans, service groups and nonprofit organizations.
