Mark Cosgrove & Good Medicine and the High & Wides at TileWorks

Posted

TileWorks is gearing up for another fun summer of bluegrass music. Grab some snack and refreshments, pull up a lawn chair, beach chair, or blanket and enjoy the show! Our second installment of Bluegrass at TileWorks 2024 features Mark Cosgrove and Good Medicine along with The High and Wides. Read more about these great acts below.

Mark Cosgrove and Good Medicine featuring Mike Munord

Mark Cosgrove is a Bucks County legend and a guitar player extraordinaire. With decades of flatpicking under his belt, he is the most sought-after guitar player in the area. He won the Doc Watson Guitar Championship in 1994 and National Flatpicking Championship in 1995. He has played with The Jerry Douglas Band out of Nashville and most recently played with David Bromberg for years, up until David's recent retirement. Mark's band, Good Medicine, has been playing all the while and now has become his main focus. They are a tight little unit with years of experience.

For his show at TileWorks, Mark has added Banjo player Mike Munford! Mike was the IBMA Banjo player of the year in 2017. He hails from the Baltimore, MD area. He played at TileWorks last year, sitting in with Michael Cleveland. We are very excited to have these 2 local legends playing together at TileWorks.

The High and Wides

Formed in 2015, The High and Wides have been opening ears and minds to bluegrass ever since.

This quartet plays hard driving bluegrass and heartfelt ballads effortlessly. They have released a few records over the years and enjoy a nice following in the DelMarVa area. Their picking and harmony singing warms hearts wherever they go. We welcome their debut to the Delaware Valley and TileWorks this summer.
