Univest Performance Center to Rock out with “Almost Queen” Saturday

Posted

Get ready to rock Saturday, July 13 at the Univest Performance Center with “Almost Queen,” a tribute band that doesn’t just pay homage to “Queen,” but transports audiences back in time to experience the magic and essence of the legendary band themselves.

This concert is part of Quakertown Borough’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series presented by Sands Auto Group.

Tickets for this show start at $32, offering both lawn and reserved seating options. Tickets can be purchased at UnivestPerformanceCenter.com or at the ticket booth the day of the concert. Gates open at 6 p.m. Arrive early to enjoy The Hit Mann DJ, followed by opening act, “Steve Leonard Trio,” which will set the stage for “Almost Queen.” Indulge in offerings from a variety of food vendors and sip on Queen-inspired cocktails from Spinnerstown Hotel.

“Almost Queen’s” concerts are a true testament to the band’s love for “Queen’s” music. Fans often travel long distances just to experience “Almost Queen’s” carefully curated setlist featuring “Queen’s” best-loved songs, like “Somebody to Love,” “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Fat Bottomed Girls,” and “Radio Ga Ga.”

Almost Queen occasionally plays some lesser-known album tracks, such as “Flash,” “Spread Your Wings,” “Love of My Life,” and other hidden gems. And of course, no “Queen” tribute concert would be complete without classics like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You,” and “We Are the Champions!”
