My compliments to the Tinicum Chairperson Eleanor Breslin on her opposing comments about colored lighting proposed for the Frenchtown Bridge (“Tinicum officials: Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Bridge work will slow EMS response,” Aug. 1). A carnival indeed.

Tinicum supervisors have raised concerns about the Delaware River Toll Bridge Commission’s plan to rehabilitate the 93-year-old Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Bridge.

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will hold two open houses next week to share information and take feedback about its plan to restore the Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Toll Supported Bridge in 2025.
