What are they thinking with LED bridge lighting?

Posted

My compliments to the Tinicum Chairperson Eleanor Breslin on her opposing comments about colored lighting proposed for the Frenchtown Bridge (“Tinicum officials: Uhlerstown-Frenchtown Bridge work will slow EMS response,” Aug. 1). A carnival indeed.

I can’t imagine the thought patterns of someone even proposing it. What would it benefit? What’s next, music?

I’m sure the owners of the townhouses behind Finnbar (in Frenchtown) would love that.

Even on the weekends when I travel to the CSA for our vegetables I might see about five people on the walkway. It doesn’t need to be widened.

Have those five pedestrians cross over in Milford. It has a wider bridge.
