300+ jobs available at Bucks County New Year Job Fair

Posted

The new year means new opportunities — for better health, improved finances, and, most notably, new careers. At a time when the job market is competitive and teeming with openings in various fields, Bucks County job seekers could get a jump-start on their new career at RecruitmentQueen’s Bucks County New Year Job Fair on Jan. 17.

Held in the Barnes & Noble Court at Neshaminy Mall, 707 Neshaminy Mall, in Bensalem, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., RecruitmentQueen’s annual job fair will feature hundreds of career opportunities from local employers.

Local job seekers can meet hiring managers in person and get started on a new career instead of applying online and waiting weeks to hear from recruiters.

RecruitmentQueen’s career fair features a wide array of positions in various industries, including health care, education, manufacturing, and more. Applicants will have the opportunity to ask employers specific questions about job openings, benefits available and what type of work environment they could expect.

Dozens of employers will exhibit at the job fair. The following companies have signed up so far: Superpac Inc., Jefferson Health, The Arc Mercer, Early Learning Children’s Academy, YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties, Path, Inc., Pennswood Village, New Jersey Department of Corrections, Philadelphia Catholic Cemeteries, Univest, Aging with Comfort, Malvern Community Health Services, Inc., and Sunrise Senior Living of Lower Makefield.

“For job seekers, while there may be more job opportunities available, the competition can be fierce. It’s crucial for individuals to stand out in the application process by showcasing their skills, experience, and unique qualities,” said RecruitmentQueen founder Jennifer Schultz. “Attending an in-person job fair provides job seekers with an advantage in having already met key hiring managers face-to-face.”

Job seekers can register the day of the job fair at the registration table, or ahead of time online. Schultz recommends that applicants bring several copies of their resume. Even though the career fair is held at a shopping mall, where dress codes do not apply, professional attire is recommended.
