Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation supports Soldiers’ Angels Treats

Posted

Every year, millions of pounds of candy end up in the trash after Halloween.
From over-buying, to kids collecting more than they can enjoy from Trick-or-Treating, the unwanted candy just goes to waste.

Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation is joining the national nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels to bring candy to U.S. service members around the world and to veterans in VA hospitals across the country.

The Doylestown-based divorce mediation center is collecting candy at its locations in Doylestown and Newtown from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Nov. 15.

“The joy these service members get from opening a package of treats from home is immense and has a profound impact on their morale,” said Amy Palmer, president and CEO of Soldiers’ Angels, in a statement.

Join this effort and drop-off candy at either of these locations: Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation, 155 N. Main St., Doylestown; or Alpha Center for Divorce Mediation, 503 Washington Ave. #2d, Newtown.
