Artwork by local artist at Yardley Refillery

Posted

Lisa Domenic announced immediate availability of her original artwork at the Yardley Refillery, 1 S. Main St., Yardley.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to partner with a local store owner and install my colorful line work in downtown Yardley,” said Domenic.

Jaime Alford’s Yardley Refillery, which opened in November, is focused on sustainability. However, the shop is more than just utilitarian; it is a space that brings people together.

The corner store has beautiful décor and bay windows that let in a ton of light. It was only natural that Alford reached out to Bette Sovinee, executive director at the AOY Art Center looking to add to the aesthetic and partner with local artists.

A Yardley resident, Domenic is a contemporary Impressionist. Her experiments with watercolor and ink have led to some dynamic and unique pieces. The original artwork will be in the storefront throughout their summer campaign focused on water conservation.

Domenic’s art has been included in juried shows in the tri-state area and received recognition in Philadelphia and Bucks counties. She has studio space at the Mill Gallery & Artist Studios on Leverington Avenue in Manayunk and belongs to the 3rd Street Gallery artist cooperative just off South Street in Philadelphia.
