Workshop offered to parents of children with special needs

Posted

A workshop titled “Frameworks for parenting your neurodiverse child” will be offered to parents and caregivers of children with special needs in New Hope from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday March 2.

The program is being offered by Bright Side Parenting, which is run by Solebury resident Cinda Ball. Ball is the mother of a 27-year-old daughter with special needs and she’ll present some of her story along with the “original frameworks” she has designed to support parents like her.

“If you have a child with learning differences, ADHD, special needs and/or is neurodiverse, please consider attending,” Ball said. “If you have ever felt alone or overwhelmed by caring for your child, this workshop will give you support and tools to help you manage the care of your child, and your own sanity.”

The program will be held at 58 W. Bridge St. in New Hope. The cost is $25 and interested parents can register at https://brightside-parenting.com/.
