Bucks County Association of Piano Teachers sets 29th Performance Play-A-Thon

Bucks County Association of Piano Teachers (BCAPT) announces its 29th annual Piano Performance Play-A-Thon.

The Play-A-Thon will be held in the Macy’s Court of the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 8.

During this remarkable celebration of music, a record-breaking 75 piano students from throughout the Bucks County region will showcase their musical talents by performing a variety of classical, pop, jazz, blues and ragtime selections.

Play-A-Thon students will perform on a Steinway Grand Piano donated by Jacob’s Music of Philadelphia.

Bauder Audio of Horsham is providing a sound system to allow the music to be heard throughout the mall for the entire day. Students range in age from pre-school to adult and will be performing solo, duet and ensemble pieces. Seating will be provided.

Play-A-Thon is free and open to the public.

Bucks County Association of Piano Teachers is a nonprofit organization that has been serving piano students and their families since 1982. BCAPT offers frequent performance opportunities and valuable pedagogy workshops.

Teacher membership area includes Doylestown, Newtown, Richboro, Yardley, Langhorne, Holland, Fairless Hills, Churchville, Lansdale, Levittown and Morrisville.
