A Morrisville felon will spend the next five to 10 years in state prison for the illegal possession of five firearms, including three ghost guns.
Andrew Richard Bizon, 34, was convicted in July following a two-day trial before Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Charissa J. Liller. A Bucks County jury found Bizon guilty of five felony counts of prohibited possession of a firearm and one misdemeanor count of possession of an instrument of crime.
Bizon was not allowed to possess the firearms because of a 2011 conviction on a felony drug charge, the Bucks County District Attorney’s office said.
On Wednesday, Liller sentenced Bizon to serve up to a decade in prison. Bizon’s arrest in August 2022 was the result of an investigation by the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force.
