Doylestown celebrates Pride

Doylestown’s Pride celebration events run June 13 through 23.

The Pride flag raising took place June 1, on the lawn of the Bucks County Administration Building, and Pride events in the borough include a pop-up event at the Michener Art Museum at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 13, followed by pop-up events at the Doylestown Bookshop at 6 p.m. Friday, June 14, and 6 p.m. Friday, June 21.

On tap next is Pride Music Day, presented by Picnics on Pine, from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church lot.

There will be film screenings at the County Theater on 1 p.m. Sunday, June 16 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, and a Father’s Day Brunch with Bob Egan at Frost from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 16. The Rainbow Room hosts Queer Youth Open Mic at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 19.

The Pride Block Party is set for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22 on East State Street between Pine and Main streets.

Sunday, July 23 offers a Drag Brunch at the Hattery, with seatings at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and a pop-up event at Salem Church at 10 a.m.
