Entries wanted for Stover Mill Gallery’s Tenth Juried Art Exhibition

Posted

Stover Mill Gallery has issued a call for entries for its Tenth Juried Art Exhibition.

Beginning Oct. 12, the show is sponsored by the Tinicum Civic Association and will be juried by David Hahn and Susan Roseman. The deadline for submission is Sept. 6.

Following her studies at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and The Printmaking Council of New Jersey Print Workshops, Roseman has taught many local printmaking workshops with an emphasis on seniors. Combining art and commerce, she developed Artie Art, which was an American Made nominee for Martha Stewart.

In his 20-plus years of painting, Hahn has studied the Pennsylvania Impressionists and has exhibited throughout Bucks County, taking top awards in several of the area’s juried shows. In 2023 he was awarded Best of Show at The Tinicum Art Barn and received The Landscape Award at Phillips Mill, among others.

With over $3,500 in prizes, the exhibit will be held during four weekends beginning Oct. 12, with an opening reception from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Stover Mill Gallery on River Road (Route 32) in Erwinna.

Submission are now being accepted. Interested artists can go to EntryThingy.com and look for Tenth Juried Art Show – Stover Mill Gallery or visit via a link on the gallery’s Juried Art Show page at StoverMillGallery.org.

Artists working in representational, impressionist or abstract modes, in any medium, are invited to submit original art for consideration. All art must be for sale. Each artist may submit one work. An application fee of $30 is nonrefundable.
