Family Service Association welcomes Patricia Rooney, to the agency’s Board of Directors.
A human resources professional, she brings vast field experience, particularly in the areas of organizational development, global management, and policies/procedures among many others.
Since 2012 Rooney has served as director of human resources at Parx Casino and Racing in Bensalem. Among her many achievements at Parx, she has been responsible for establishing and growing the company’s Business Resource Groups and incorporating information systems into HR policies. An avid supporter of staff training, education and change management, Rooney continues to provide key leadership in her position.
Rooney received a bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting from The College of New Jersey. She began her career at Merrill Lynch Investment Management, followed by successful tenures at Philadelphia Insurance Company, Bristol Meyers Squibb and Unitek Global Services.
Rooney is delighted to join the Family Service Board of Directors, where she will contribute to the agency’s mission and vision. She is eager to guide and advise Family Service, as it s supporting many of the most vulnerable citizens in the community every day.
