Gelato Chef Gianluigi Dellaccio hosts a grand opening for his new Gelato Shop, at 87 S. Main St., New Hope, at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17. There will be free mini-cones while supplies last.
An award-winning gelato chef, Dellaccio is the founder and driving force behind the Washington, D.C.-based Dolci Gelati, with multiple locations across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
Gelato Shop will specialize in authentic, artisanal, homemade Italian gelato and sorbetto, including Dellaccio’s vegan non-dairy gelato made with oat milk, crafted from scratch. The shop will also serve Italian coffee and pastries.
Recognizing the local fondness for pretzels, Dellaccio has created a special flavor exclusively for the grand opening – “Salted Caramel Pretzel,” showcasing his “commitment to quality ingredients, genuine passion, and extensive knowledge.”
