Kin, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is an all-inclusive holistic Wellness and Support Center providing free services through its unique 360-degree care model to cancer patients, their caregivers and local oncology health care workers across Bucks County.
C&N has pledged to raise funds for Kin through the end of May 2025. Through the bank’s “Giving Back. Giving Together” campaign, C&N is supporting the local cancer community through Kin in various ways throughout the year.
The Bucks County community is encouraged to get involved and participate in these fundraising efforts. The first fundraiser will involve bank teammates selling Gertrude Hawk candy bars until May 31, 2025. People can stop into the bank office at 60 N. Main St. in Doylestown, to purchase these candy bars for $2. From September to October, C&N will sell 8-inch Cake in Box gift cards redeemable at Nothing Bundt Cakes, 1524 N. Main St., Warrington. A portion of those sales will benefit Kin. From November to December C&N will release a special QR code to Pampered Chef. When people order products, C&N will raise 15% of each item sold for Kin.
“We chose to raise funds for Kin Wellness Center because of their dedicated efforts in providing comprehensive support and innovative treatments for individuals battling cancer, making a real difference in the fight against this disease. Kin aligns with our mission to support and uplift our local community, ensuring that resources go directly towards making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most,” said Dalelyn Colquhoun, community office manager, C&N.
“It’s a pleasure to partner and collaborate with C&N. They are the perfect balance with locally focused initiatives, employees who engage and give back and banking solutions that fit our nonprofit’s needs. We’ve gotten to know them over the years and they’ve taken the time to get to know us. Being selected as their annual nonprofit charitable beneficiary is both humbling and appreciated,” said the Executive Director and founding member of Kin, Keith Fenimore.
The Giving Back, Giving Together community fundraising campaign was formed in March of 2015 with the purpose of supporting a different cause each year that will have a positive and lasting impact on local communities. This employee driven effort has raised $743,731 in monetary donations, collected 42,209 item donations, and employees volunteered their time for 1,649 hours. All donations to the program stay in the local community. For information about the program visit, www.cnbankpa.com/GBGT.
