Children’s Bereavement Camp slated in Newtown

Hands Holding Heart will host a Children’s Bereavement Camp Aug. 2-4 at Friends Village, 331 Lower Dolington Road, Newtown.

The camp is for children ages 6-12 who have experienced the death of a loved one. They will engage in fun activities as they learn about how to cope with loss and begin the healing process.

The camp will take place 6-7 p.m. Aug. 2 and 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 3-4.

The registration fee is $25; financial aid is available to those who qualify.
