KMRD Partners Risk Management and Human Capital Solutions employees will deliver 26 eight-pound spiral hams, totaling nearly 1,500 pounds, to feed more than 200 local families.
Families in need are identified with the help of Keystone Opportunity Center, which helps to house the homeless in Pennsylvania’s Upper Bucks and Montgomery counties and operates a food pantry serving hundreds of neighbors dealing with food insecurity from across the Souderton Area School District.
KMRD has again partnered with Leidy’s Simply Delicious, which has been feeding quality pork products to hungry people for over 100 years. Leidy’s again supported the cause by supplying discounted product to KMRD.
“Keystone Opportunity Center helps community members in need. As members of this community it is our responsibility to express our support both financially and personally. We hope our actions propel others to get involved locally this season to help those in need,” said KMRD President Kevin McPoyle.
“We are grateful to Leidy’s for again partnering with us on this program,” said Bob Dietzel, KMRD co-founder and principal. “They help set an example for organizations wishing to mark the holiday season in a meaningful manner. Company programs combining financial support with volunteer efforts can boost company morale and camaraderie. Doing good as a company can do good for your company.”
Food deliveries have taken and are taking place on the following dates: Nov. 16, 22 and 30; and Dec. 7, 14 and 21
