Local spas, salons and med-spas raise $20,000 for Kin Wellness and Support center

The monthlong Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month has concluded, and local businesses and the community came out in force to raise money to support Kin Wellness and Support Center.

With the slogan, “Care for yourself, help others,” hundreds of people throughout Bucks County booked self-care appointments with participating spas, med-spas and salons with a percentage of their treatment fee dedicated to helping local cancer patients and their caregivers through Kin. The event raised $20,000.

Forty businesses participated from towns across the county. Select locations hosted special events, raffles and featured collection jars creating myriad of ways for people to give.
