Mary Roth returns to NH-S library

Singer/Songwriter Mary Roth will perform her popular music program, “Enchanting Appalachia,” at the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury, 93 W. Ferry St., New Hope, at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22.

She will sing “Wayfaring Stranger”; “Cluck Old Hen”; “Shady Grove” and others with her Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer and Celtic Bouzuki, taking a musical journey of the rich culture of Appalachia and its people followed by a lecture with discussion-sharing.

Roth has performed in a wide variety of venues in the Bucks County community. She has been featured in a local magazine and on an area radio station. She taught the noncredit course “How to Play the Mountain Dulcimer” at Montgomery County Community College.
