Kevin Edwards accepts the congratulations of New Hope Mayor Larry Keller during Tuesday’s borough council meeting, at which Edwards took the oath of office to become the borough’s new Chief of Police. Edwards previously worked as a sergeant in the neighboring Solebury Township Police Department. He succeeds Michael Cummings, who retired earlier this year.
