Pastor honored at community day in the “wonderful town of Dublin”

A day of fun, games, food and friendship-building at the 23rd annual Dublin Community Day ended with Eugene Miller, lead pastor of Living Hope Community Church, accepting a service award Saturday.

“Living Hope Church has operated as a part of the community fabric with a bedrock message of hope,” Miller said when he accepted the Community Service Award. “It’s a privilege to be a resident and live in our wonderful town of Dublin.”

Living Hope is a non-denominational church with multiple locations, one in Dublin and one in Doylestown.

“As a non-denominational church, our focus is Jesus Christ,” its website reads. “We recognize that the vision of the Bible is communal and the members of the church are to share a common life.”

The church boasts a “Ripple of Hope” initiative to grow and expand.

“By developing multiple locations or ‘campuses’ throughout the surrounding areas, Living Hope is better able to spread the Living Hope of Christ by making disciples of all nations,” the website says.

Other than recognition, Dublin Community Day was defined by food, elegant cars in the car show, and family fun with the inflatable playgrounds and kids performances.

Eagles safety player Sydney Brown was in attendance, posing for pictures and signing autographs.
