Pay what you can to see “Grease” at Bucks Playhouse

Posted

It’s Rydell High in 1959 and the duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and the gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” rule the roost. After a summer romance, Danny and Sandy are unexpectedly reunited for their senior year, but can they survive the good and bad times at Rydell High?

Starting at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9, “‘Grease’ Pay-What-You-Can Night” at Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, 50 tickets are reserved for anyone wishing to purchase up to six tickets at the price of their choosing. The suggested minimum price is $10. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and seating locations will be assigned by the box office. No special ticketing requests or advance purchase are available for this promotion.

The next “Pay-What-You-Can” night will be held Nov. 22. These performances are made possible through a grant from Joe Santy.

“Grease” performs Aug. 9 through Sept. 8. Visit https://bcptheater.org/shows/grease.
