PECO utility improvements scheduled across region

Posted

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions in Bucks County:

•Monday, Jan. 8, through Friday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between River Road and Circle View Drive in Solebury Township; and

•Monday, Jan. 8, through Friday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Creek Road between Quarry Road and Deep Run Road in Bedminster Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
