Christina DiVirgigelis, manager of Souderton Connects, gave notice of her resignation from the nonprofit during the March 6 meeting of Souderton Borough Council.
She expressed her thanks to council, public works, police and others for all their work and support.
The organization heads up efforts to brand, market and beautify Souderton’s Business Improvement District. DiVergigelis, a Souderton Area School District product, is also a certified health coach and mentor, according to www.soudertonconnects.com.
The organization, in late February, posted a job description for the position of Business Improvement District manager and invited candidates to apply.
Mayor Dan Yocum thanked DiVirgigelis for all her work, stating that Souderton Connects worked the best with her at the helm.
The resignation comes as plans for Souderton’s 3rd Friday season (May through October) are underway.
