Souderton woman missing, not seen since last month

Posted

Souderton Police have no new leads regarding the whereabouts of woman reported missing by her family on April 25, borough police Chief Brian Newhall said today.

Christi Troiano, 56, is white with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She owns and operates a black, 2009 Acura TL bearing Pennsylvania registration GJN7484. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she left her house in Souderton Borough.

Newhall said Troiano’s car has not been seen on any cameras on roadways equipped with Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPR) since she went missing. He said the LoJack tracking system in her car has recently been activated, but its technology is older. In addition, information about Troiano and her vehicle have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database used by law enforcement.

Newhall said attempts to track Troiano by cell phone pings also have not panned out.

According to her family, Troiano left her home in the early morning hours and indicated that she may intend to harm herself. The chief said the family has obtained a 302 involuntary commitment order for that reason.

Troiano is known to visit the New Jersey Shore and casinos in Atlantic City, as well as parks in Bucks County. Missing person fliers have been distributed at the casinos, but she has not been seen there, and via social media.

Police ask anyone who sees Christi Troiano or her vehicle, to call 9-1-1 immediately. For additional information, contact Newhall at bnewhall@soudertonpolice.org or 215-723-6500. The case number is 2023-02899.
