STHS hosts Building Your Family Tree program

Posted

Solebury Township Historical Society is offering a second program in its genealogy series, at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21.

The program will cover fundamentals of creating a family tree, starting with what you already know and exploring online sources to add to your tree. Participants will look at several websites that offer great information about their family, and talk about pros and cons of each website.

Bring your questions and research tips. There will be an open discussion period to swap thoughts, trials and triumphs in the fascinating avocation of researching family roots.

The event will be at the STHS Schoolhouse, located at the corner of Sugan and Upper York (Route 263) roads in Solebury. This is free to STHS members, and $10 for nonmembers. To sign up, go to www.soleburyhistory.org, or call 215-297-5091 and leave a message or email soleburyhistory@gmail.com.
