Temple Police Officer to hold community event to find cure for Sanfilippo Syndrome

Posted

A new Temple University Police Officer serves more than just the North Philadelphia community. He also serves his hometown in Bucks County.

Officer Jeremy Mask is organizing a Concert for the Cure on Sunday in memory of his brother, who died in 2008 from Sanfilippo Syndrome at the age of 17.

Concert for a Cure will take place from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at Sellersville Fire House Grove, 2 N. Main St., Rear, Sellersville.

The event helps to raise funds and awareness of MPS. There will be local bands and artists performing, plus a children’s area, vendors, games for all ages, food and surprises. Tickets are $20 or six for $100 (children 12 and under are free or a donation is appreciated).
