Terrain Garden at DelVal set to open soon

Terrain Garden at DelVal, the highly anticipated upscale “outdoor lifestyle garden center and café” will open for business at the former Market at DelVal June 29, according to company officials.

It will host its first wedding June 30.

Visitors will find an expansive nursery, as well as a large retail space featuring all-weather furniture, seasonal décor and outdoor lighting. Produce, plants and other farm goods grown at the university will also be available.

Additionally, the center will offer the Terrain Café, featuring an airy restaurant and bar, with a happy hour. The café’s menu and catering services will include DelVal-grown food. University students can also apply for paid internships and other employment at DelVal’s Terrain, as well as the company’s other locations, an earlier statement on the project said.

The home and garden center, owned by Urban Outfitters, sits along a section of Delaware Valley University’s campus on Lower State Road in Doylestown Township.
