Tewksbury Historical Society Juried Art Show and Sale seeks submissions

Sept. 4 is the deadline for submission of works to Tewksbury Historical Society’s 32nd Juried Art Show and Sale, running Saturday, Oct. 5, through Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Zion Lutheran Church Christian Education Building, 16 Miller Ave., Oldwick, N.J. The opening reception is Friday evening, Oct. 4.

The Show and Sale brings together many of the region’s best fine artists and includes juried, small, and portfolio works, including photography.

Works must be original to the show, not submitted previously to the Show. Media includes oils, acrylics, paper (pastels, watercolors, mixed media collages), hand pulled prints (etching, silk screen, lithographs) and photography (analog and digital). Categories include Animals, Abstracts, Landscapes, Florals/Still Lifes, Figurative and Built Environment.

Awards will be given for “Best in Show,” “Best of Tewksbury,” “Marion Katnack Memorial Award,” plus 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mentions in each category. Jurors of the Show will be Michael McFadden, noted artist and educator, and Doris Ettlinger, well-known illustrator and artist.
