Posted

The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. celebrated employees who have been at the organization for five years or more at an Anniversary Luncheon Feb. 29, at Piccola Trattoria in Doylestown Township.

The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania celebrated and honored their service and contributions to the organization and its vision of “Transforming Lives Through Sustained Recovery.”

“Throughout our history, The Council has been able to rely on an incredible asset – the passion, creativity and dedication of our staff. It is my belief that for those who choose to make The Council their professional home for a significant period of time, it is due to the way our mission aligns with their values, professionalism and caring compassion. Together, the years of service for those recognized today have totaled more than 461,750 hours of service supporting tens of thousands of people as they sought a new way forward,” said Executive Director Jennifer King.

The event gave longtime employees the opportunity to connect with their coworkers while being recognized for their accomplishments and their commitment to helping fulfill the Council’s mission of: “Offering hope and support to reduce the impact of addiction by providing resources and creating opportunities for the entire community which guide the journey of recovery.”

Anniversary certificates were made for the staff and were handed out during the lunch. The certificates acknowledged the tenure of individual staff members at the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania and expressed gratitude for their time and dedication. Several members of the Council of Southeast Pennsylvania’s Board of Directors attended the event to commemorate the occasion.
