Yardley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center recognized for quality care and services in national rankings

Posted

Quality care and services at Yardley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center continue to draw recognition on the national level.

The Bucks County provider has been named among the nation’s 2024 Best Nursing Homes in prestigious rankings by both Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report. Located at 1480 Oxford Valley Road in Yardley, the skilled nursing center provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.

Yardley continues to develop market-specific programming that responds to regional demand; its recently launched Pulmonary Care program is one such example. Specialty initiatives also include Physiatry Services, aimed at enhancing and restoring physical functional ability, and a progressive Chronic Illness Support care model, which integrates palliative care, pastoral support and other services with its clinical programming.

Newsweek, in partnership with global data research firm Statista Inc., identified the nation’s top 750 facilities in 25 states for its “America’s Best Nursing Homes 2024.” The rankings are based on five data sources, including performance data, peer recommendations, management of the COVID-19 situation and accreditations; for the first time, resident satisfaction data was added to the scoring model.

In U.S. News’ “2024 Best Nursing Homes,” Yardley received its high performance rating for long-term care. U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes for this year’s list. Ratings were determined by nursing staffing, patient and resident outcomes, and safety measures, among other indicators of quality.
