There was a Letter to the Editor in the July 11 edition (“Why abortion is not murder”) that made definitive statements about abortion not being murder.

The July 11 letter arguing that abortion is not murder because “a human does not come into being until it is independent of that from which it came” is lacking in understanding of logic, law and science.

In the pursuit of truth, words are important. Good law is practical and objective. Bad law pits good people against one another. When the great American melting pot is stirred, consensus is formed.

I was at a rally over the 4th of July weekend in Doylestown and heard Ashley Ehasz, candidate for PA Congressional District 1 representative, speak about women’s right to choose, reproductive health, abortion healthcare access…freedoms no longer guaranteed.
