Why abortion is not murder

Posted

In the pursuit of truth, words are important. Good law is practical and objective. Bad law pits good people against one another. When the great American melting pot is stirred, consensus is formed.

I know this girl. She picks a flower from a flowering plant and, with it, adorns her hair. Like a flower, beautiful she is. However, when she picked the flower, she also took its life.

Harvesting plants and slaughtering animals are not murder. Only a human being can be murdered and only by another human being.

A human does not come into being until it is independent of that from which it came. Before childbirth, the mother and fetus are inseparable. After the tradition of childbirth, what started on a cellular level and developed into an embryo, then into a fetus, human life has successfully come into being. But not before.
