Arts and Bark festival benefits Warminster senior center

The fifth annual Bucks Arts and Barks Pet and Family Fest returns June 2 at Warminster Community Park, 350 E. Bristol Road, Warminster.

The event, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., will feature 80 plus vendors/crafters, eight animal rescues, six food trucks, petting zoo, live music, kid’s activities, mini horse kissing booth, face painting, balloon twisters, police K9 and family fun.

Admission is free and the proceeds support the nonprofit Warminster Ben Wilson Senior Activity Center, which provides socialization, education, exercise and nutrition to local seniors and veterans. This center also annually serves over 6,000 Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors in Bucks County. It is the largest senior center in Bucks County, with more than 1,200 members.

The Presenting and Major company sponsors that help make this community fundraising event possible each year are: Glanzmann Subaru, Cigna, Prestige Healthcare and Stephanie Raieta-State Farm Agency.

The featured animal rescues are: Brandywine SPCA, Brookline Labrador Rescue, Hart 2 Heart Animal Rescue, Home At Last Rescue, Jax’s Labrador Retriever Rescue, Kitty Junction, New Leash on Life USA and Wags Rescue & Referral Rescue

The featured pet hospitals/veterinary offices are BluePearl Pet Hospital – Levittown, County Line Veterinary Hospital, Family Pet Clinic and Metropolitan Veterinary Associates.

Annamaet Pet Foods and Farmina Pet Foods are the featured pet food companies and the featured food trucks/vendors are Beach Beans Coffee, Dough and Co, Pazzo Pizza, Rita’s Water Ice, Rooster & The Chick, The Tot Rod and Spuddy Buddy Fry Factory.
