Tabby’s Place’s Cats of the Month for July are Xena and Moo Moo.
Xena is every inch the regal warrior princess her name implies. The gray lady considers herself “feline royalty,” imposing and majestic among mere kitty-cats. Yes, Xena is a bit of a diva – she would most likely do best in a home where her star can brightly shine alone.
While Xena, who has skin alleriges and is on a special diet, might be a bit temperamental when it comes to befriending fellow felines, she is quite different when it comes to people. Should you be fortunate enough to become her person, Xena will lavish you with all the warmth and attention her royal personage can muster.
Moo Moo beauty is the least of her loveliness. Although she’s an older lady, her eyes fill with kittenish joy when showered with affection. And although humans are Moo Moo’s favorite species, she’s happy to live among other mellow cats.
However, Moo Moo can sometimes get a bit overstimulated by excess attention. She will thrive with an adopter who can learn to read her body language and respect her boundaries.
