Karla L. Dolan, 85, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
Born in Berminhoff, Germany, Karla moved to the United States in 1946. She settled in the New Hope area in 1970 and owned and operated Karla’s Restaurant in New Hope from 1978-1986. A very business-oriented person, Karla operated a number of Bed and Breakfasts in the area.
She adored animals and always seemed to have a dog for company. She was an Jazzercize enthusiast practicing sometimes twice a day.
She is survived by her life partner Richard S. Kehler and his extended family who loved Karla deeply.
According to her wishes there will be no funeral services.
