Linda S. Crozier “Lindsay”

Posted

Lindsay Crozier, 64, of Doylestown, PA and past resident of Redmond, WA passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.

Lindsay was born on December 1, 1959 to Carl and Mira Dobrzynski in Warren, MI.

Lindsay was a policy research director and worked for many of the top research companies in America including The University of Washington, NORC of the University of Chicago and Mathematica Policy Research in Princeton, NJ.

While in Princeton, Lindsay met Tony and married in 2001. They started a family and had three boys. Their personalities and accomplishments were the source of pure joy for her. She loved her family above all else.

Her other passion was antiquing. She had a great appreciation for antiques and interesting vintage goods and regularly spent hours in antique stores, flea markets and thrift stores hunting for treasures. She loved her time at the Stone House, where she kept a room to sell her treasures and spend time with her co-workers.

Lindsay was a great cook having learned from her “Babcia” and mother. This led her to culinary classes in Seattle, New York and France.

She enjoyed the outdoors, her favorite place was to be in the mountains, where she enjoyed hiking and backpacking. Two of her most memorable treks included climbing to the summit of Mount St. Helens and seeing the new growing dome inside the crater and backpacking the 47 mile long West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island, BC.

She was an incredible human being – kind, funny and had a bright mind. She never spoke harshly of anyone even if they disagreed with her ideas or her politics. She was a steadfast Republican, which she inherited from her dad. They spent many nights talking politics.

Lindsay was a silent fighter, keeping her illness from people. Lindsay had battled two types of breast cancer and won, all the while taking care of her boys and working.

She fought the good fight, but after another hard-fought battle against cancer, her body found this battle was too stressful to fight again.

Lindsay is survived by her husband Tony Crozier of Doylestown, PA; her sons Zachary, Ethan and Logan all of Doylestown, PA; and a stepson Tyler of Astoria, Queens; her mother Mira of Warren, MI; a brother Mark (Annette) Dobrzynski of Honor, MI; a sister Karen Dobrzynski of Grand Rapids, MI; a nephew Stephen and niece Alyssa of Grand Rapids, MI.

She was preceded in death by her father Carl and brother Raymond.

The outpouring of grief along with so many touching memories and stories on how she affected so many people’s lives reinforcing what we all knew – that she was an Amazing Person.

A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are welcome to a gathering at the church at 10:45 am prior to Mass. A reception will follow at the parish social hall next to the church.
