Marilyn R. Schulz of Doylestown, Pa., passed away at her residence on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022. She was 87.
Marilyn was born in Whitewater, Wis., to the late Denry and Ruth (Sherman) Monn. She lived in 15 different homes as she served with her husband during his 30-year Naval career.
Marilyn attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and received a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University. She spent many years as the librarian at the Philadelphia Naval Base, and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit in Doylestown where she enjoyed her work and the many friends she had.
Marilyn enjoyed flowers, sewing, entertaining for the Holidays, various sports, music, and art.
She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Russell K. Schulz; devoted mother of Capt. Dennis A. Schulz, Russell Eric Schulz and wife Margaret Thompson-Schulz, and Sallie A. Schulz; dear sister of Dorothy Degness and the late Loretta Mansfield; loving grandmother of Doug and Dennis Schulz Jr.; cherished great-grandmother of Olivia Schulz.
A memorial service will be held at the Doylestown Presbyterian Church, 127 E. Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022 at 11 a.m. The family will receive their friends from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
