Old Rocks Church sets camp meeting, revival

Posted

An Old Fashioned Camp Meeting/Revival with the theme “People Need the Lord” is planned to be held at Old Rocks Church, 260 Mt. Airy-Harbourton Road, Lambertville, N.J. beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6, 7, and 8.

The speaker will be the Rev. Greg Moore, senior pastor from Winder Wesleyan Church in Winder, Ga. There will also be special music including a Community Choir under the direction of Pat Masterson from Mt. Airy Presbyterian Church. Following the service, will be free homemade ice cream and cookies. An offering will be taken to help defray the expenses for this event.

Weather permitting, gospel music will be piped out on the front lawn beginning at 6 p.m. each night, so attendees are invited to bring a lawn chair and sandwich to enjoy before the 7 p.m. service in the church.

Also on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 11 a.m., Old Rocks Church’s annual Homecoming Service with a special speaker and music will be held. Following that service, there will be a pot luck luncheon, so all are invited to bring a favorite dish and share a time of remembrance and fellowship.

For information, contact the Rev. David Errickson, pastor, at 609-397-6197.
