Studio Route 29 sets Benefit Dance Party

Posted

Studio Route 29 hosts its second annual Benefit Dance Party from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, July 13, under the tent at 50 Trenton Ave., Frenchtown, N.J.

Funds raised at this benefit support the Studio Route 29 scholarship program, extending access to the studio regardless of finances. All artists at the studio come on a sliding scale, pay what you can basis. It accepts Medicaid goods and services funds or out of pocket pay.

Here’s what to expect:

•Three hours of dancing to DJ sets by friends of the studio under a big white tent in a green grassy field with creeks running by on both sides and a river on the other.

•The vibe: super-relaxed-fun-time, all styles, all smiles, songs for everyone and everyone for songs.

•Wood-oven fired Margherita pizza from a cob oven Studio Route 29 had the luck to help build when it got to town two summers ago. Pizza will cruise around the dance floor to you;

•The coldest refreshments to keep you going; and

•A raffle and silent auction with “bangin’” prizes from the community as well as from the Studio.
