The Friends of the Doylestown Library group is seeking vendors for its first-ever Arts & Crafts Fair, a fundraising event to be held next April 27 in the auditorium of the historic James-Lorah House in Doylestown.
“This is a great opportunity for artisans to sell their creations at an indoor Arts & Crafts Fair in a central location,” said Friends Fundraising Co-Chair Donna Tobin. “By scheduling the fair just a couple weeks before Mother’s Day, we hope to attract many shoppers.”
The Arts & Crafts Fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024. Plans for the event include musical entertainment and purchased refreshments, and admission will be free.
“We also to plan to support our vendors with a complete publicity package, including pre-event advertising, news releases, and online calendar and social media listings,” said Co-Chair Lorrie Richardson.

Proceeds of Friends fundraising events support Doylestown Library programs, equipment and materials, such as the Summer Quest and Reading to the Dogs children’s programs, the popular chair yoga program, and the monthly Book Page distributed free at the library.
