Who do you trust?

Posted

We are in the midst of the most unusual national election in many of our lifetimes. Even in the last four weeks we have experienced more upheaval and reversals than perhaps in all the national elections for more than a century combined.

We have arrived at a new Democrat running for President, Kamala Harris. We scarcely know her but should be keen on learning more about how she might lead.

While many distrust the Republican candidate Donald Trump, we should be asking whether the Democratic candidate and party should be trusted as well. The Democrats allowed no real primary challenge — even if there were legitimate challengers, the traditional primary was disrupted.

Perhaps Harris has grown as a leader since the 2020 campaign — but who knows — I guess we’ll see in the next hundred days or so.

Additionally, the current President is not up to the task of winning an election, but he is up to remaining the President of the United States? What is going on here?

I think the American people deserve some answers from the Democrats on these issues if they want our vote.
